This policy explains how Vayu (vayufinance.fr) collects and processes personal data, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.
1. Data Controller
The data controller is the publisher of vayufinance.fr. For any request regarding your data: vayuindexing@proton.me.
2. Data We Collect
- Account / authentication: if you sign in, authentication is handled by Privy (email address and/or wallet address). - Audience measurement: aggregated, privacy-friendly analytics via self-hosted Plausible — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, IP addresses are not stored in identifiable form. - Scan inputs: the pool and wallet addresses you submit for analysis are public on-chain data and are not linked to your identity. - Technical logs: server logs (IP address, user agent) kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.
3. Purposes & Legal Basis
- Providing the service and authenticating you — legal basis: performance of the service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). - Measuring aggregated audience and securing the service — legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). - Where applicable, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
4. Retention
- Account data: kept while your account is active. - Technical logs: kept for a limited period (typically a few weeks). - Analytics: stored in aggregated form only.
5. Recipients & Processors
We do not sell your data. Data may be processed by the following sub-processors strictly to operate the service: - Privy — authentication. - Plausible (self-hosted) — analytics. - Vercel — frontend hosting. - Hostinger — backend hosting.
6. International Transfers
Some providers (e.g. Privy, Vercel) are based in the United States. Such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses). Analytics and backend servers are located within the EU / France.
7. Cookies & Tracking
Vayu does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. - Plausible analytics is cookieless. - Privy may use local browser storage (localStorage) strictly to maintain your authenticated session.
8. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact vayuindexing@proton.me. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority — cnil.fr).
9. Security, Contact & Changes
We implement appropriate technical measures (HTTPS, access control) to protect your data. For any question: vayuindexing@proton.me. This policy may be updated; the date at the top reflects the latest version.
